Features List

  • 6 Lines

    6 Lines

Easily adapt your telephony service according to the size of your company.

    6 Lines

Multiple Lines provide you with a cost effective business solution, allowing you to adapt your telephony service depending on size and nature of inbound calls.

How does it affect my business?

One of the most important features of a communications system is flexibility. Multiple lines mean it is possible to have one line going into your business but have several different telephone numbers, allowing traffic to be directed to a specific number. This is particularly useful for separate business features or marketing campaigns as you can direct or monitor calls accordingly.

One main advantage is that you can add more lines or give each extension an individual phone number in proportion to the size of your business, adding or removing lines as required. When in use, you are alerted to incoming phonecalls on each different line and can place one customer on hold whilst dialling out from a different line or answer an incoming call.

  • Conference Calling

    Conference Calling

Hold an impromptu conversation with two or more other parties.

    Conference Calling

Conference calls are an essential and cost effective method of communicating with your colleagues or customers.

How does it help my business?

Coordinate your meetings, arrange instant conferences or hold quick consultations between colleagues in either the same office or in geographically different locations. Conference calls save time and minimize the use of resources whilst increasing productivity.

  • Touchscreen

    Touchscreen

Touch, swipe and pinch your way through your phone and apps with a Multi-Touch display.

    Touchscreen

Navigating your phone has never been simpler. The multi-gestured touchscreen creates a responsive and intuitive way to control what's on your screen, perfect for flicking through apps or simply scrolling through your address book.

    Types of touchscreen

There are 3 main types of touchscreen; resistive, capacitive and surface accoustic wave. At Usomo all the phones we supply have capacitive screens, meaning you are provided with an accurate and responsive interface.

These screens don't detect pressure but instead use an electrical charge to measure the conductive properties of whatever it comes into contact with, for example, your finger. As a result the screen won't react to non-conductive objects such as a stylus. The screen includes a layer that stores an electrical charge - when the surface is touched, the charge at that point decreases, and from there the screen can calculate the location of the touch. Capacitive screens are generally more responsive and allow for a lighter touch.nThe thin layered screens ensure that the display contains sharp images, while the electrical charge means cleaning the screen doesn't interfere with the controls.

  • SD Card Port

    SD Card Port

Use an SD card to expand your storage space.

    SD Card Port

  • Android OS

    Android OS

Google's powerful mobile operating system allows unrivalled flexibility.

    Android OS

Operating systems manage the hardware, applications and sharing of different resources within your device. As the world's most popular platform, Android harnesses the power of creativity and boasts an ever-increasing number of apps and features.

How does it affect my business?

Primarily developed for touchscreen mobile devices, Android is an open source platform, meaning that users are able to add and modify software. This ensures that developments cannot be restricted by any one company, so the marketplace can continue to grow. As a result you'll even have the opportunity to design and develop your own company apps, should you want a fully customised service. With close links to Google, Android offers a fully integrated system, with various business and company apps available. Editors Review

The GXP2200 is a superb multi-line Android based phone. As with most of the Grandstream products, the High Definition handset delivers rich crystal clear audio. The display, as you would expect from an Android phone, is a multi-screen display which is completely customisable using widgets, to show weather, stock information, contacts, e-mails and much more. Standard VoIP features, such as Call Hold, Transfer, Conferencing, Speakerphone, Volume, Mute and Voicemail are easily accessible using the phone keypad.

The phone ships with the Grandstream Market but, Android Play Store can also be installed simply; giving you access to literally millions of Android Apps. There is an extensive 500 number call history. This phone is let down a little by not allowing synchronisation of contacts with your Google account. However, we're liaising with the development team within Grandstream to make this feature available on the handset in future.

Expansion is pretty well catered for with this phone. There's an SD card slot for extra storage, as well as a USB (host) port, to connect other devices such as a memory key, WiFi dongle, keyboard or mouse.

All in all, from a "techy" point of view, this is an already excellent phone, with potential to be even greater.
